What are LED/UV Lashes?….
LED lashes are a revolutionary eyelash extension system that used LED/UV lights to cure the eyelashes to the natural lash. this shows big advancements in the industry, developed by engineers and scientists. LED/UV lashes are on there way to becoming the new “standard” with the amazing retention, and how they bond to the natural lash!
The LED/UV glue is a flexible bond that provides a stronger and longer lasting adherence to your natural lash as it “instantly cures”. This superior adhesion can withstand water immediately after lashes are applied however it is still important to follow proper aftercare to prolong all kind of eyelash extensions for as long as possible.
Due to them curing immediately, they help to cut down allergies by 80%, that’s right 80%! So you girls out there who haven’t been able to get you lashes done well now look no further you have ANOTHER option to try!
This client is allergic to normal eyelash extension glue and she is now able to get her lashes done! She use to have an allergic reaction within minutes of them being applied, and now she has had over half a dozen of lash sets done and still NO reaction!
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?….
creating a seamless and comfortable feeling for both the client and the technician. Here at OakleeSaige I am embracing he new shift in the industry as it has become the go to for me and all my clients!
Did you know that lamps like the one I use in salon has been used in medical and dental industry for over two decades? The lams we use in salon is NOT a UV lamp its is a LED/UV lamp. it DOESN’T tan your skin unlike a UV lamp.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?….
YES! LED/UV Lashes are perfectly safe, the levels of short ultraviolet ( UV-B OR UV-C ) emissions. The ultraviolet wavelengths are below and weren’t observed above 360nm. Ultraviolet light becomes visible around 400nm.
The infrared energy emitted by the LED/UV light mynute, when used correctly by the technician. It emits visible ultraviolet light that is well below the current guidelines for human exposure.
The lamp that I use here at OakleeSaige is 6x less powerful then the light we use here for curing Gel nails or Gel polish. It’s even 1000x less powerful than a professional tanning bed which often has 5000W.
The exposure time I also so short that the average curing time is around 1.5-2 seconds per lash applied. For example if we applied 100 lashes a complete exposure for the service in total would 6mins for an average 3hr full set. A regular tanning bed has an exposure off 20mins or more in a higher wave length.
How crazy is this, to receive the same amount of UV exposure from being outside for 60 seconds…. you need to be under the lamp for 60 hours!!!! yep you heard me 60 hours. So with this in mind you would need get roughly 600 FULL SETS to equal 60 seconds of being outside.
